How to get out of a social relations situation that is essentially shaped by confrontation with the main trade union.

To establish a bridge between the trade union organizations and the senior management, and use it to do away with the usual posturing, which is often unpleasant but nevertheless reassuring for each party (because change feels risky).

Using the same analysis grid to analyse the level of satisfaction/disatisfaction of each party, regarding the entire social relations process.

The next step would be to evaluate the usefulness and feasibility of a change to the current situation :

  • Working towards consensus in evaluation
  • Identifying possible areas of change
  • Finding room for new ways of doing things
